This was the last week to turn in assignments for Progress Reports. Let's just say, the 7th Grade has seen better weeks. Waiting until the last minute to turn in work is not my style, and I am concerned that so many students seem to be perfectly comfortable with this style of workmanship. Snap out of it! Instead, challenge yourselves to turn QUALITY work in on time. Challenge yourselves to write clear and detailed sentences. Challenge yourselves to read your writing before you consider yourself done and fix your writing so that it is easily understandable. Challenge yourselves to use your agenda to check your assignments' completion. Challenge yourselves to take responsibility for being absent and completing the work and lessons you missed. And if you don't know how to do these things, challenge yourselves to ASK ME how. Come on, 7th Grade. Let's ge

Today was the Nationwide race live from Daytona, at the end there was a near Fatal crash where Kyle Larson flipped up into the catch-fence that protects the fans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFS5yFdj4mA his motor and a tire ended up in the Grandstands

Now it is a race to get the fence repaired before the start of THE race. Is the driver ok?

The driver was fine. He walked away, but atleast 15 fans were taken to local hospitals

Great Blog!!! I am trying to encourage my son to correct his sentence structure. I was just thinking about this very same thing this morning, and to come here to read this is confirmation. I am going to print this and post this in my son's room to remind him to challenge himself.

And we have a new pope! Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio. He picked the name Francis. (Pope Francis the first)
