I just returned home from the School Board meeting. Our school was highlighted for our wonderful Green House Club! I was so excited to see Paige Brown and Nate Lacey at the meeting. I can't wait for the spring to see all of your additions to the Green House Garden!
I am in the process of adding some book pages so that you can easily access your textbook (easier said than done, but I'm working on it!).  Until then, notice the links for the chapter assignments. I will add the links for each chapter as we go.
I know many of you are big fans of Mr. Hamden and Mr. Baldwin. Well, this week is your chance to show your appreciation because this is National Principals' Week! So, in the spirit of kindness, why not let bygones be bygones and share a laugh with our two wonderful principals this week!

Mrs. Hemler, you know how we are talking about women rights? well today a woman made history. The Daytona 500 (biggest Nascar race of the season) is coming up on 2/24. Danica Patrick (female Nascar driver) will start first for that race. First time in history that a woman has ever done that

J-Mak, I heard about this yesterday. I thought of you immediately because of Nascar! I was going to use it as a subject for my next blog, but now I'm thinking YOU should blog about it! Ms. Patrick is making history and is definitely paving the way for women everywhere who want to do something that is dominated by men. She is an inspiration for perseverance, determination, and a model for being true to one's self. Now, let's hope she wins!
